Dr. Gale H. Roid was previously Dunn Professor of Educational and Psychological Assessment at Vanderbilt University. He was formerly Professor and Scholar in Residence in the Department of Psychology at Simpson University in Redding, California and Professor of Psychology in the Graduate School of Clinical Psychology at George Fox University. From 1980 to 1985 he was Director of Research for Western Psychological Services where he participated in writing several test manuals. From 1987 to 1992 he was Senior Project Director and Consultant for Harcourt Assessment (the Psychological Corporation)--and served as initial project Director for the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Third Edition (WISC-III). He also worked on the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test-Second Edition (WIAT-II) and the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale- Third Edition (WAIS-III).
